We're country!

It's official, Ama, Warren and kiddos are moving to the country. And the best part, they are going to be just a (uphill) hike from Momo's. Since Ethan is Luke's BFF, he is beyond thrilled. We were up there tonight and their cool Uncle Sean was bringing out all the toys. He had remote control buggys, airplanes, you name it, he had it. Luke and Ethan were not to fond of the loud noise.....

How much cooler can Uncle Sean get with these kinds of toys?
Luke saw this thing racing around and the loud noise was forgotten, he took off to see it closer.
Yep, and ran right into a dust cloud. Brillant. But he loved every second of it.
And just a cute one of lil Jett.

It wouldn't be a Friday without football!

No real surprise here that our Friday was spent at Bronco Stadium. :) The Broncos won again (although this one was a bit tougher....the score was 14-0 favoring the other team within the first 10 minutes or so) but we ended up with the victory. Luke was really tired and asked to go home and go to bed almost right away. Silly kid.
He ended up getting a second wind when he noticed the fire truck. Ok, this had to be the NICEST fireman ever (or one that had no interest in watching football! :) He spent about an hour with all the kids. He gave them a tour of the truck, let each one stand inside and then proceeded to sit on the back of the rig and tell stories. Seriously, so so nice. Luke was a little nervous in the beginning and so he stayed right behind his good buddy, Jackson.
And oh, how he held on to him.

And yes, that would be a Bronco tattoo in the middle of his forehead. He is a die hard fan. :)
And Drew has started this "cheese" face whenever the camera comes near him. I love that he loves the camera but I don't know if I love those weird, silly faces! :)

Kissin Cousins

We had a little playdate today with Jett, Raquel, Ethan and Colt. Jett and Drew are starting to play together more and more. Here is Drew getting ready to plant one on Jett.....although I am not sure what Jett is thinking about those big ol lips of Drew's.......

So cute.
Tonight the boys wanted a pudding cup. Drew is fiercely independent when it comes to using his own forks and spoons. I knew CHOCOLATE pudding would be messy but I had no idea....

Everywhere. Face, belly, arms. Absolutely everywhere.
And getting cleaned off in the sink. (Look at the three finger marks on the forehead). He was so pleased.

Chick Magnet??

Ok, there are a lot of benefits to Luke and his independence. He can get himself out of the bath and dress himself (oh and he can pick out his clothes......) This was him tonight-midsneeze--whoa, I wasn't sure what was worse, the entire pj choice or the highwaisted pants. This picture is so going to come back and haunt him someday! :)

A random Monday post.....

Here are a couple of pictures from this weekend. We celebrated Ethan's big b-day on Saturday. Not sure what was a bigger hit...the pool or the Star Wars cupcakes. Well, actually, for Luke it was the pool and for Drew, our little piggy--it had to be the cupcakes! Speaking of piggies....a big topic of conversation in our house has been Rin Rin and the new baby. Luke has been telling me that he remembers what it was like when he was in my belly. Yes, he said that he remembers hearing piggies when he was in there. Um, thanks Luke, what the heck is THAT suppose to mean? Actually, I am not quite sure I want to know. ;)

Drew and William, little music makers. Drew is talking more and more everyday. Of course, the favorite word is still "dor-uh" but he has added backpack (which sounds more like "bapa") to the mix. Uh-huh, after little miss Dora. Oh, and he is still a little rascal when it comes to climbing. This morning he pushed a laundry basket (full of laundry) over to the dresser to get to the TV. How does he think of these things??!

A day in the life of Drew

My little Drew loves the camera. He will stop whatever he is doing for a "ceeeseeee." Nothing makes me happier :) He is still my messy boy--as you can see here with his yogurt (how it ended up in his hair, I have no idea).
He is awfully proud of himself and his spooning abilities. In the beginning he is always very careful, taking little bitty bites. By the end he is dumping it all over, trying to drink it, tossing it from the tray, just your basic all-boy mess. :)
See, he loves the camera.
He even stopped mid-cupcake to pose. Silly, silly boy.
