Daddy's Little Helpers

John had some great help the other day when he was washing the car. It lasted all of about 2 minutes, but it was nice while it lasted :) I am sure John can't wait for the day that they do this chore all on their own.

Finally baptized!

We finally got the boys baptized today. Luke had a bit (ok, a lot) of anxiety about getting water one his head. He just didn't understand why anyone would need to get him wet. Once we told him it was water from God, he was ok with it. :)

Daddy and his boys.

We got there pretty early so Luke spent some time in prayer--oops, I mean playing bubble breaker on my phone.
Luke and his Godparents, Ama and Warren. Luke did think that he was getting some new parents today though. He was ready to go and move right in with them. I love how easily we were replaced. :)
And Drew and his Godparents, Uncle Sean and Rin Rin. Drew was so tired by this point. He was working that bottom lip and doing everything he could to stay awake.
Momo, Papa and their boys.
Luke wanted to really show his appreciation to Momo and Papa for everything they do for him. Nothing better than kisses!!
And more of those for his Momo.

True brotherly love......

The weather has been fantastic lately so I decided to take the kids to the park last Sunday. Luke brought his soccer ball but dropped it as soon as we got there to play on the playground. Well, there were some older boys there who asked to play with his ball....sure, no problem, right?
This is the face I got as soon as they started to play with it. Territorial much?! :)
I told him to go join those kids if he wanted to play soccer. Nope, he just stood on the edge watching.......way too shy to even approach them.
Luckily, he has fearless Drew to do all of his dirty work for him. Drew walked right up and snatched the ball.
As you can see Luke was beyond thrilled with his little brother.
And then decided to rip the ball out of his hands......
Poor Drew....all the dirty work and none of the rewards. Luckily (or not so lucky for us!) he has a set of lungs that lets us know exactly when his brother pulls these kinds of stunts.

He is going to be a GREAT daddy

Luke that is. Ama and Warren sent Luke a fun green ticket in the mail.....Luke knew EXACTLY how he wanted to spend it, much to John's dismay.

Oh yeah, the baby collection. He has been wanting accessories for Ollie Dive for awhile now. But, according to Luke, it couldn't be pink. It is not easy to find "dolly" things that aren't pink. Luckily, Toys R Us had the perfect items to spend that money on!

A stroller? Check.

Bouncy seat? Check. Baby play blanket? Check. It also came with a little pack and play but Drew kept trying to climb in it so we weren't able to get any pics of Ollive Dive at rest. :)

So, I think that Luke is going to become a fabulous Daddy someday....very nurturing. Well, that was until he and Drew decided to try and rocket launch Ollie Dive in the stroller down the staircase. We will keep working on it. :)

Luke and his "friends" :)

The other night we walked into our room and this is what we found.......Luke and his buddies. The best part was that he positioned them all so they could see the TV. How kind of him. :)
Yep, there is Ollie Dive, right smack in the front.
Oh how I love this little boy.

No surprise here!

Our house is very predictable. Friday nights are always football (and apparently the majority of my posts lately!). Luckily, the boys are still having a blast and loving every minute.
I think this is my new favorite picture of the two of them. :)
Papa is Drew's bestest bud. He adores him. Although, this has led to many near misses on the field. As soon as he spots Papa (on the sidelines taking pics) Drew goes running for him. He doesn't quite get the danger of 22 helmet headed big boys running towards him.
He absolutely loves him.
His other bestie is Momo. Whenever I need to"bribe" him to go somewhere or get in the car, I can always use Momo....works everytime.
Luke made a new friend, another Luke. Here they are cheering the team on (and pretend whistling).....oh, and this was for the half time show. Yep, they were cheering on the band. :)
Drew, just taking it all in.
The Luke's
The best part of the game is the very end when the boys get to run onto the field to Daddy and do the fight song. I think it is John's favorite part too ;)
