Luke the mad scientist

 

There are many great things about first grade.  One of Luke’s FAVORITES is getting chosen to be the Super Scientist.  After much debate, he chose to do the volcano activity.  of course. :)

 

First step, get some dirt.

(after this whole thing was over I reread the instructions and it was supposed to be a small soda bottle….)

The dirt part took forever….

Drew gave up very quickly…

So Daddy came in to really get a lot of dirt (and this is when I made the project move outside :)

and remember how we were supposed to use a small soda bottle??!  Well, that comes in to play here…..
